Crappie Fishing Tips for Minnetonka
These are tips that typically work well Crappie Fishing

- Use a light rod
- Small bobber with about 20" of lead
- FluFlu style jig with a Minnow or Wax Worm on it


Spots on Minnetonka to fish

- Shallow water in the lagoons
- Over weeds
- Under and around docks (especially works if its sunny)
- Couple hundred feet out from Wayzata Docks
- Libbs Lake and the entrance to Libbs Lake
- Seton Channel
- Near the yellow canopies in Jennings Bay

Big island is a good spot this time a year in the channel, Maxwell bay between the landing and pier, but with the cold water I would fish a weed line outside of the shallow areas in 10 feet of water or so that's where the crappies will be
